At a young age I recognised the positive impact that physical activity and sport can have on a persons health and well-being. For this reason I decided to study Exercise, Fitness and Nutrition at university and later Sport Studies with Physical Education.

When my university studies were complete I pursued a career in teaching Physical Education. I have been teaching for four years now and I am pleased that I can play a role in helping young people to develop intrinsic motivation to exercise.

I have played sport at a relatively high level so I have been exposed to the world of strength and conditioning for a long time. University gave me a chance to study and experiment with the science, psychology and sociology of various exercise methodologies.

I started CrossFit training at the end of October 2014 and I haven’t looked back.

There is no exercise methodology that can compete with CrossFit if you want to get holistically fitter and stronger. I love that everything in CrossFit is measurable, observable and repeatable – this means that progress can be planned and monitored. Coaching CrossFit gives me the opportunity to have a positive impact on the health and well being of others.
