Graduate of the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic
James graduated from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic following an undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise science. From an early age, James expressed a keen interest in sport and exercise. Growing up, he threw himself into football, taekwondo and personal gym training and was certainly no stranger to sport injuries.
James has a passion for sport and exercise in all forms. Complementing his chiropractic training with his undergraduate sport’s science knowledge, in 2014 James completed a season’s internship at AFC Bournemouth.He is now a chiropractor at Gillingham FC whilst working at Southcote Proactive Healthcare in Maidstone.
Fostering a firm belief that ‘injury prevention’ is the way forward in sport’s healthcare, James harnesses his academic and practical understanding of sports and exercise to help prevent injury and fulfil his patients’ goals.
James enjoys training himself, playing golf and socialising. James is on the final stage of completing his sports chiropractic course (The International federation of sports chiropractic – FICS) and has a goal to work with the elite sports at the World Championships/Olympics.
What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a healthcare profession that focuses on diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system.
Chiropractic is a manual therapy, including spinal manipulation and other joint and soft tissue manipulation. Incorporating different techniques to help treat many conditions such as general aches and pains including those of joints, muscle spasms and cramp to general, acute and chronic backache/back pain.
Other conditions such as headaches arising from neck, prevention or migraine to general shoulder and elbow pain.
